Posting this mostly for the second point. It gets overlooked far too often. No matter what your fitness goal; to become healthy, strong, lose weight, gain weight, get ready for summer, not matter what the goal, you will see greater results faster if you train all five dimensions.
In addition to the overall benefits, the diversity will keep your training interesting, exciting, and fun!

So my confession is that before I even started college I had totally reverted back to the way I was before I started my journey. I had also gained back 32 pounds. Now I am heavier than ever and more unhappy with my body than ever. I feel like I’m in a giant cloud of fog and I can’t get out. This is how I’ve felt for so much of my life. I have never truly loved myself. There are so many obstacles I have to get over but I want to try again. It’s going to be harder than ever while I’m here at college but I can’t be like this anymore. Each day I’m becoming more and more depressed and I feel disgusting and unworthy of being in the presence of people. I just hope that I can get there one day. I’ve never been thin before. I want to know how different my life could be if I was.
